1- Entrepreneurship center definition :
Based on a partnership agreement between the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development and the University of Continuous Training, the Entrepreneurship Center will be established at the University of Continuous Training as a platform for exchanging relevant opinions and ideas regarding entrepreneurship. It will follow a modern scientific approach that combines academic expertise with professional field experience.
The Entrepreneurship Center is a flexible institution, headquartered in the central administration of the university, with extensions in various university centers. Its mission is to raise awareness, provide training, and motivate final year students, ensuring their initial support in order to establish institutions that contribute added value to the national economy.
The Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Continuous Training will be managed by competent professionals and staff affiliated with the agency. There are two ways in which centers can collaborate with the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development: either through agreements with the agency’s provincial branches or through a general agreement between the university and the General Directorate of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development, under the supervision of the rector of the university and the general director of the agency.
The Entrepreneurship Center is structured in the form of a joint leadership and activation committee, consisting of the Entrepreneurship Center director, facilitators, and technical support:
Director of the Leadership and Activation Committee of the Entrepreneurship Center: A professor responsible for program management.
Facilitators: Two university professors and a representative from the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development at the headquarters of the Entrepreneurship Center in the university. In addition, branches will be established (the number of branches will be determined, with eight branches in each region: east, west, central, and south), and each branch will have a responsible facilitating professor.
In addition, there will be a representative from the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development, as well as technical support through two administrators.
- The Mission of the Entrepreneurship Center:
The main mission of the Entrepreneurship Center is to promote the entrepreneurial mindset within the university environment and enhance the spirit of initiative among students to create their own projects. It supports creativity and innovation, aiming to make a real impact on the national, regional, and local economy by supporting students in realizing their aspirations across the country.
The Entrepreneurship Center serves as a space for interaction between students and professional experts. It addresses the concerns of students regarding their professional future and specifically caters to those with projects, ideas, or the desire to establish their own enterprises. It serves as a listening space.
Furthermore, the Entrepreneurship Center acts as a comprehensive framework where students with projects can come together to discuss their ideas, exchange experiences, and engage in thematic or open forums, making it a space for idea exchange.
Through the expertise of its mentors, the Entrepreneurship Center empowers students to transform their ideas into real, successful projects that manifest in the field, enabling them to achieve their dreams.
- The Nature of the Center’s Activities:
The primary focus of the Entrepreneurship Center is to help students at the University of Continuous Training achieve their dream of establishing their own enterprises. To accomplish this goal, we emphasize three core pillars that can be further enriched in the future:
- Awareness: The mission of the Entrepreneurship Center is to promote entrepreneurship and graduate a new generation of entrepreneurial students through:
- Instilling an entrepreneurial culture among students.
- Training students in the spirit of initiative.
- Integrating the establishment of enterprises as a component across most majors in bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Informing students about the entrepreneurship profession.
- Support: The Entrepreneurship Center ensures personalized and sustainable support, starting from the ideation phase all the way to the practical realization of projects. This support is provided by qualified mentors in the respective field of expertise.
- Training: Through exploratory units within the LMD (License-Master-Doctorate) system, the Entrepreneurship Center provides added value to students at the University of ContinuousTraining, whether it be by motivating them to establish their own enterprises or by offering experience in project preparation and communication techniques.
