
Meeting of the Expanded University Directorate Council Chaired by the University Rector

On June 19, 2025, Prof. Yahia Jafri, Rector of the University, chaired the Expanded Directorate Council Meeting, which addressed several key issues related to the conclusion of the academic year and preparations for registration and re-registration for the upcoming academic year.
Among the topics discussed:
– Finalizing the number of new students based on the university’s intake capacity
– A total of 66,000 applications were received for the 2025/2026 academic year, with 40,000 students granted preliminary acceptance during the first 20-day admission phase
– Preliminarily accepted students will be able to view the results of their application assessments starting Monday, June 23, 2025
– Each accepted student will be able to download the necessary documents to complete their registration
– Starting Monday, June 23, 2025, the academic services will begin issuing graduation certificates for students who passed the regular session
– Re-registration will be available online for students advancing to higher years beginning June 23, 2025
– A new preliminary registration phase for Master’s students will be opened from July 7 to July 14, to accommodate this year’s graduates from UFC and other universities
– The graduation ceremony will take place on July 12, 2025, honoring top-performing students from each regional center and awarding prizes for select competitions
– The council also discussed and approved several other matters addressing student concerns, which will be communicated to the directors of the university’s regional centers.
