On February 7, 2024, Mrs. Rabia Kharfi, the President of the National Economic, Social, and Environmental Council, received Mr. Yahia Jaffari, Rector of the University of Continuing Education (UCE). During this meeting, both parties expressed their mutual desire to enhance cooperation for the sake of sustainable and comprehensive social and economic development of the country. The President of the Council expressed a special interest in the initiatives and programs proposed by the University of Continuing Education, acknowledging their importance in enhancing skills and adapting to contemporary social and economic developments. Mr. Jaffari noted that the university currently offers training in 14 specialties and aspires to reach 25 specialties to fully support the country’s social and economic development. At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to establish a working group to identify priority areas for cooperation.
