Weekly Summary of Centers´ Activities:

Oran Center:

The Management of Institutions and Economic Development Laboratory at the Oran Center participated in the local Innovation and Creativity Fair organized by the Directorate of Vocational Training and Education of the Wilaya of Oran on June 1, 2, and 3, 2024. Several stakeholders and trainee students attended the event.

Dr. Karim Kateb, the laboratory director, delivered a presentation on « The Role of Startups in Developing and Diversifying the National Economy. » The fair concluded on Monday, June 3, 2024.

El Bayadh Center:

On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5, 2024, the El Bayadh Center of the Continuous Education University held the inaugural general assembly for the « Green Skill Club. » This club is the first to focus on environmental issues. The event included planting trees to protect the environment, in line with Ministerial Decision 1275 supporting innovative projects, especially those related to environmental security, which are among the objectives of the Green Skill Club, a pioneering club at the El Bayadh Center.

Chlef Center:

The Director of Tourism and Handicrafts of the Wilaya of Chlef attended a coordination meeting with the Director of the Continuous EducationUniversity of Chlef to prepare for a national symposium and study day on national memory and the historical identity of the Wilaya of Chlef. Attendees included:

A representative of the Chlef Mujahideen Organization.

A representative of the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association, Chlef.

A representative of the Directorate of Culture and Arts.

The El-Majd Cultural Association.

Various Centers:

Discussion of Master’s Theses for the 2023/2024 academic year began with the opening of online sessions.

Bab Ezzouar Center:

The remedial session for odd semesters started on June 1, 2024.
