The University Rector presided today over the installation ceremony of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA) branch, in the presence of senior university officials.

He extended his congratulations to the union members for the trust bestowed upon them by their colleagues, urging them to contribute as a social partner in the university’s development, especially by promoting dialogue and addressing the needs of the university’s most valued resource—its staff. He praised their active role in the dynamic progress of the university over the past two years.

For their part, the union representatives expressed their full readiness to serve the university, contribute to its growth, and represent workers’ concerns and proposals with dedication.

The session concluded with an agreement to hold a follow-up working meeting soon to address pressing matters and future actions.
