    On December 10, 2024, the Continuous Education University hosted the events of the Young Journalists Forum. The forum, organized by the Supreme Youth Council, was titled “The Role of Media in Enhancing Intellectual Security Among Youth in the Context of New Open-Source and Multi-Media Media” and took place on December 10 and 11, 2024.

   This forum was attended by representatives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, including the Ministry’s Inspector General, Mr. Hussein Fouzaari, and the Director of Student Life, Mrs. Sahraoui Asya, as well as the Rector of the University of Continuous Education. Also present were Vice Presidents of the Supreme Youth Council, the Secretary General of the Council, and many prominent figures in the field of media, along with professors and media experts, as well as journalists from various national media outlets.

   In his speech on this occasion, Dr. Yahya Jafari, Rector of the University of Continuous Education, praised the forum’s topic and its impact on enhancing intellectual security, particularly in light of the challenges facing our country on all fronts. He emphasized the crucial role of media in guiding and protecting public opinion amidst the new, open, multi-media sources.
