The University of Continuous Education Honors Its Sports Champions in National and Arab Competitions

Prof. Yahia Jafri, Rector of the University of Continuous Education – Didouche Mourad, extends his warmest congratulations and deepest pride to the university’s students who excelled in various sports competitions during April and May 2025, raising the university’s name high:

– Zakaria Ramdani, from Bordj Bou Arréridj Center, won the silver medal in the 1500-meter men’s final at the Arab Athletics Championship for Seniors, held in Oran on May 1, 2025, with an impressive time of 4:11.85.

– Khaled Mansouri, from Ben Aknoun Center, earned honorable recognition for his participation in the Algerian Cycling Cup, competing with Mouloudia Club of Algiers and contributing effectively to his team’s victory in the tournament, which took place in Oran.

 

– Ayoub Mahroub, from Ben Aknoun Center, excelled at the National Elite Athletics Meeting, held in Algiers on April 18, 2025, securing fourth place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.78 seconds. He is currently preparing to qualify for the World University Games in Germany through his participation in two upcoming elite national meetings on May 24 in Algiers and May 31 in Béjaïa.

Prof. Yahia Jafri emphasizes that these achievements reflect the perseverance, discipline, and excellence of the university’s students. He further encourages the promotion of university sports as a key pillar in shaping students’ well-rounded personalities.
