The University of Continuous Education Concludes Second Entrepreneurship Training Session

On April 28, 2025, the Entrepreneurship Development Center at Didouche Mourad Continuous Education University hosted the closing ceremony of its second entrepreneurship training session, attended by a select group of professors and students.

This program aligns with the university’s efforts to promote entrepreneurial culture among youth, equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills to confidently and competently enter the world of business. Seventeen students, representing the second cohort, underwent an intensive training covering various aspects of project creation and management, including hands-on workshops and mentoring sessions supervised by specialized experts.

Speaking on behalf of the university rector, Dr. Yahia Djafri, Professor Souad Boulahia, Vice Rector for Pedagogy, emphasized that this session is part of a series of initiatives aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs and fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation. She also highlighted the significance of the partnership with the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA), reflecting both institutions’ commitment to promoting innovation and backing startup projects.

For her part, Professor Dhawia Ben Kacemi, Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Center, underscored the importance of embracing entrepreneurship as a strategic choice for diversifying the national economy and advancing sustainable development.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of training certificates to participants in recognition of their dedication and efforts throughout the program.

This initiative is part of the national strategy to instill an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit among youth, serving as a cornerstone for economic and social development.
