The Participation of the University of Continuous Education in the National Competition for the Leading Institution in Distance Learning

First Place Nationally
The University of Continuous Education participated in the second edition of the National Competition for the Leading Institution in Distance Learning (concours établissement pionnier en enseignement à distance), overseen by the National Committee for Distance Learning. Initially, the university achieved first place regionally, tied with the University of Laghouat. Meanwhile, the University of Batna and the University of Oran secured first place for the eastern and western regions, respectively.
The final round of the competition, during which the top-ranked universities from the central, eastern, and western regions presented their proposals, took place on December 15, 2024, under the supervision of the Regional Conference of Eastern Universities and was hosted by Ferhat Abbas University in Setif.
The final result awarded the first place jointly to the University of Continuous Education and the University of Batna. However, the University of Continuous Education was uniquely recognized as a leading institution of excellence in distance learning, setting it apart from other universities.
On this joyful occasion, the Rector of the University, Dr. Yahia Djafari, extends heartfelt thanks to all the university’s contributors who made this achievement possible through their efforts and dedication. He also expressed his wishes for continued growth and development for the University of Continuous Education, enabling it to play a significant role in realizing the ministry’s objectives and the state’s goals in education, research, and wealth creation.
