   Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, along with the Rector of the University of Continuous Education, in the presence of the family of Martyr Didouche Mourad, the revolutionary community, and various state sector officials, inaugurated the mural for naming the University of Continuous Education after Martyr Didouche Mourad.

   During the ceremony, held on the sidelines of the annual celebration of National Martyr’s Day on February 18, the main university building was inaugurated. This building includes the Entrepreneurship Development Center, the Business Incubator, the Artificial Intelligence Cell, and the Center for Economic Environment Liaison. The celebration featured presentations by various university startups, scientific clubs, and sports clubs.

   On this occasion, University Rector Professor Yahya Djafari, in his opening speech, congratulated the members of the University of Continuous Education on this naming, as it embodies the highest meanings of sacrifice and loyalty to the nation. This motivates and obliges us to continue the struggle with the weapon of knowledge and science. The inauguration of the main university building establishes entrepreneurial thinking, supports project holders and startups, and highlights the university’s role in development.

   The event included a presentation on the militant life of Martyr Didouche Mourad by Professor Mohamed Cherif Sidi Moussa, focusing on his heroic actions in fighting French colonialism and his educational and militant journey.

   The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in his speech, praised the choice of naming the university after Martyr Didouche Mourad and congratulated the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Continuous Education on this occasion. He emphasized the importance of continuing the mission and fulfilling the trust through construction and building.

   In another part of his visit to the University of Continuous Education, the Minister met with student athletes who hold national, continental, and international titles and encouraged them to continue contributing to the glory of university sports
