On the occasion of the National Student Day, coinciding with the 68th anniversary of the general student strike called for by the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students on May 19, 1956.

Dr. Yahia Jaffari, the Rector of Continuous Education University, pauses to remember the heroic acts performed by the students in resisting the oppressive French colonialism. He calls upon all university students to draw inspiration from the significance of this eternal national memory and to work diligently to acquire knowledge and expertise in service of beloved Algeria.
