On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Student Day (May 19), University TV and Radio dedicated their coverage to this nationally significant event, featuring several active scientific clubs within the university community. The special program will be broadcast tomorrow evening on Al-Ma’rifa Channel, emphasizing the student’s key role in nation-building and the promotion of scientific and cultural progress within universities.

Among the featured scientific clubs, “I’lam” (Media Club), from Alger North – Bouzaréah Center, stood out. This club employs media tools, particularly cameras and microphones, as powerful instruments for student advocacy, awareness-building, and fostering a responsible media culture. Representing the club, student Aït Alejlat Abdelrahim highlighted the various media initiatives led by the club within the university environment.

Additionally, « Quanta » Club, from University of Algiers 1, was also featured. Known for its fusion of technology and innovation, the club advances sustainable development goals. Representing the club, student Machouk Nesrine showcased its projects aimed at developing intelligent scientific solutions, supporting a conscious and creative university society through initiatives that merge research with innovative student-led endeavors.

This participation reflected the vibrant academic environment, demonstrating the critical role of scientific clubs in honing students’ talents and strengthening their sense of initiative and responsibility.
