Minister of Higher Education Supervises Graduation of the First Class in Quantum Computing and Concludes the 2024–2025 Academic Year

   On July 12, 2025, Mr. Kamel Baddari, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, supervised the graduation ceremony of the first cohort in Quantum Computing, held at Ferhat Abbas University, Setif 1. The event also marked the official closing of the 2024–2025 academic year.

During his speech, the Minister expressed deep gratitude to professors and researchers for their efforts in teaching, mentoring, research, and knowledge valorization throughout the year. These contributions enabled Algeria and its universities to rank among the top institutions in Africa, the Arab world, and the Maghreb in various international classifications, while also developing research projects that benefited numerous sectors—turning the Algerian university into a hub of empowerment.

He also praised the unique talents of student innovators, whose wealth-generating projects contributed to the dynamic movement taking place in Algeria today.

On this occasion, the Minister commended the dedication and professionalism of technical and administrative staff, whose support of faculty and student activities—academic, cultural, and athletic—was exemplary. He highlighted the high level of responsibility demonstrated by members of the National Office of University Services, ensuring continuous improvement and quality in student services.
