On February 6, 2025, in Ben Aknoun, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, together with the Secretary of State to the Minister of Energy in charge of renewable energies, Mr. Nour Eddine Yassa, oversaw the inauguration of the Institute for Renewable Energy Studies and Achievements – the commercial branch of the Renewable Energy Development Center, the technological platform for photovoltaic measurements, and the technological platform for the prototype wind turbines, which are unique in Africa.
