Expanded Directorate Council Evaluates End-of-Academic-Year Organization

Under the chairmanship of Professor Yahia Jafari, the Expanded Directorate Council convened to assess the organization of academic-year-end activities.

During the meeting, participants discussed key pedagogical aspects, the progress of in-person and online training, and various preparations related to the conclusion of the 2024/2025 academic year.  Key Decisions and Approvals:

– Second-semester exam schedule. Exams will commence on May 3, 2025, with flexibility for centers nationwide to start until May 10, depending on their specific needs.

– Submission and discussion of dissertations. The submission period begins on May 2, with discussions continuing until May 30, 2025.

– Online appeals, resit exams, deliberations, and graduation certificates. Timelines were reviewed and approved.

– University admission preparations. The preliminary registration platform for pre-2025 baccalaureate holders will open on May 1, 2025, ensuring an organized process for new students.

– Startup and small business support. The council stressed the importance of expanding entrepreneurship training within the university incubator, assigning the Secretary-General to provide necessary resources for effective implementation.

– English proficiency exams for faculty members. Organizational arrangements were finalized.

– Temporary faculty remuneration for 2024/2025. The council urged swift resolution to guarantee faculty rights.

– Online training improvements. Mechanisms were proposed to overcome challenges and enhance pedagogical quality.

– Scientific activities for April. The council finalized and approved scheduled research and academic events.
