Coordination Meeting at the Rectorate of the University

    On Monday evening, February 19, 2024, the Rector of the University of Continuous Training, Professor Yahia Jaafari, chaired a coordination meeting. The meeting was attended by regional coordinators, center directors, field heads, educational platform engineers, and accounts center engineers, both in person and by distance.

    The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss various pedagogical and administrative issues and agree on a set of measures to address them in the shortest possible time.

   Topics discussed included the dissemination of grades and conducting consultations for the first semester on the GESCO platform by the end of February for all disciplines and years, alleviating the pedagogical burdens for permanent professors on the Progress platform, feeding Progress application with required data for professors and employees and completing the extraction of their professional cards, completing the correction of student data on the GESCO platform and ensuring the validity of the baccalaureate certificate on the Progress application, conducting resit session for the third semester (master’s) during the spring break so that concerned students can fully focus on preparing their graduation projects in June, providing centers with the necessary resources, Financial arrears, training days on startups, assignments of the second semester, and monitoring assistance online, digital library, activating the theses window on the GESCO platform so that documents are available to students remotely without the need to visit centers, agreeing to fulfill pedagogical obligations for this academic year [examinations, appeals, consultations, certificates] before the end of June 2024, and finally addressing some issues of students from correctional institutions [distance from the training center].
