Modern pedagogical engineering laboratory for education and continuous formation in accordance with the national strategy for human resources development
It is a laboratory aimed at researching the mechanisms for activating and optimizing the processes of education and continuous formation, and finding ways and methods to activate them in accordance with the goals of the National Human Resources Development Strategy, the Development Strategy of the University of Continuous Education, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development, according to their new orientations to support the National Development Strategy. This is done through four integrated and interconnected axes included in four teams.
The Modern Pedagogical Engineering Laboratory for Education and Continuous Formation in accordance with national development strategies
Is the first laboratory of the University of Continuous Education. It consists of more than 120 permanent professors, most of whom hold high academic ranks, distributed across the centers of the University of Continuous Education in Algieria. It also includes around 60% doctoral students. The laboratory provides them with the only means to engage in scientific research within an organized framework that meets the requirements for obtaining their doctoral degrees and the specific teaching needs of the University of Continuous Education.
The research conducted in the laboratory serves as a support for the missions and developmental goals of the University of Continuous Education by focusing on scientific research in its field of activities. It ensures the scientific accompaniment of its development and utilizes the available human resources and expertise to support national development in the field of formation and continuous education for human resources. Additionally, the laboratory aims to conduct scientific research on the methods and strategies to develop, update, evaluate, and assess the major axes of the tasks and functions of the University of Continuous Education. These are primarily related to the national development project and the formation of human capital through education and continuous education, which is a significant research interest for most professors.

(PPP) Monitoring and identifying national formation needs and activating Inter-Sectoral Relations (public-private partnerships):
The research projects of this laboratory are carried out according to the research needs of the Vice-Rectorate of Communications and Inter-Sectoral Relations, which supervises the Directorate of Customized Formation from various public and private institutions.
Educational Media Editing Techniques and Audiovisual Production for Formation
The research projects are carried out according to the research needs of the Vice-Rectorate of Communications and Inter-Sectoral Relations, which supervises the TV channel and radio station of the University of Continuous Education.
Its projects are carried out according to the research needs of the Vice-Rectorate of Communications and Inter-Sectoral Relations, which is at the core of its tasks. It supervises the Directorate of Distance Learning, which includes more than 35,000 students.
Pedagogy for Working Students, Specialized Formation, and Postgraduate Education
Its projects are carried out according to the research needs of the Vice-Rectorate of Communications and Inter-Sectoral Relations, which is at the forefront of its interests. It oversees the pedagogy of over 120,000 students, including a significant portion with specific characteristics in terms of job affiliation, age, and pedagogical requirements that necessitate the development of tailored pedagogical techniques to address these specific needs

The laboratory teams conduct research on the fundamental principles of pedagogy, e-learning, and its specificity, with a particular focus on techniques and methodologies for designing e-learning lessons. Additionally, they aim to identify the real national formation needs for both the public and private sectors through survey studies. They also explore mechanisms to create effective interaction and synergy between these sectors in various economic and service activities within the country.
On the other hand, the laboratory strives to research scientific media editing techniques and audiovisual production. As the University of Continuous Education is the only university overseeing the production of audiovisual media for educational purposes, in coordination with the national news agency, the laboratory considers the university’s TV channel and radio station as its physical sphere. All practical experiments and applied studies are conducted within this sphere to enhance the production of diverse media outputs.
Finally, the research conducted by the laboratory aims to explore the latest pedagogical technologies that align with the specific pedagogical activities of the University of Continuous Education, especially for specialized formation programs. The results of the laboratory’s research contribute to the core interests and activities of the university, which require continuous improvement and development to achieve alignment with the strategic goals of the University of Continuous Education, the socio-economic environment, and the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development, and the National Development Project related to human resource development through the enhancement of various forms of formation.
Research topics of the Laboratory of Modern Pedagogical Engineering for Continuous Education and Formation in accordance with the national strategy for human resources development may include:
Identifying and monitoring the actual formation needs for the skills required in the national labor market
Activating and enhancing relationships between sectors (public-private).
Techniques and methods of educational media editing, dissemination, and generalization
