An Inspiring Experience

In a heartwarming tribute to knowledge, under the embrace of family and scholarship, the Mila Center of the University of Continuous Education hosted an extraordinary academic defense—where father and son stood side by side, not to share household duties, but to share a dream, a goal, and a moment of success born from the lecture halls and crowned on the stage of academic discourse.

Father (student): Belilat Abdelhafid

Son (student): Belilat Seif El Islam

Together, they presented a joint Master’s thesis in the field of Accounting and Financial Sciences, titled:

“The Insurance Sector Between Accounting Regulation and Disclosure – A Case Study of the Regional Fund for Agricultural Cooperation in Mila Province”

Their work offered development-oriented recommendations to strengthen stakeholder trust and improve the financial structure of the sector.

The academic committee praised the quality and originality of the research, noting that the thesis transcended scientific value to deliver a profound social message. It was described not merely as a thesis defense, but as a timeless lesson in determination, learning, and family unity—a testament to how a family united in the pursuit of knowledge can create, inspire, and leave a lasting impact.
