Media and Communication Cell
Setif Center
– On May 28, 2025, a tree-planting campaign was organized by the Al-Farabi Club and Let’s English Club, with participation from Center Director Prof. Laila Ketaf, the administrative and teaching staff, and support personnel. Gratitude was extended to all contributors.
– On Saturday, May 24, the center concluded its Health Awareness Day, themed “Health Culture for the Individual.” The event featured:
– A lecture on smoking addiction and its harms by Dr. Mohamed El-Seddik Neqach.
– A talk by nutritionist Rania Derramane on Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Proper Nutrition.
– Students from the third-year Private Law class honored several professors, including Prof. Hassan Abdel Salam, in appreciation for their academic contributions.
Ghardaïa Center
– The Center Director, Mr. Nahar Mohamed Lakhdar, received members of the Higher Education Committee, who conducted a supervisory visit. The director presented a comprehensive overview of the center’s pedagogical, educational, and competitive activities.
Aïn Témouchent Center
– A spirited football tournament concluded with a final match between the Professors’ Team (Tafna) and the University team. The event featured awards for teams, best player, best fan, and referee, celebrating the value of sportsmanship and collaboration.
Tissemsilt Center
– On May 22, 2025, the center hosted a national conference on traffic violations under Algerian law. Stakeholders included police, civil protection, judiciary, academia, and infrastructure officials. Rich discussions addressed legal and institutional solutions to road safety. The event closed with deep appreciation for all participants and a commitment to future initiatives supporting public safety.
El Tarf Center
– Students from El Tarf participated in entrepreneurship incubator training at Chadli Ben Jedid University, within the framework of Decision 1275. On May 25, Dr. Fares Mezouzi led a workshop titled: « How to Prepare a Graduation Project under Decision 1275. »
Bordj Center
– Announcement of a workshop for BMC Model Revision (Business Model Canvas).
El Bayadh Center
– Hosted a virtual national scientific forum titled: “Artificial Intelligence and Its Role in Boosting Entrepreneurship in University Settings.”
Ouargla Center
– On May 20, in cooperation with the Court of Ouargla and Kasdi Merbah University, the center co-hosted a regional study day under the theme: “Specialized Commercial Courts.”
– The event featured an opening speech by Center Director Mohamed Hamza Ben Guérina, who conveyed Prof. Yahia Jafri’s apologies for not attending due to Student Day ceremonies.
– Permanent instructor Mohamed Yahiaoui Nabil gave a talk on amicable settlement in commercial court cases.
– The conference concluded with recommendations to be submitted to the Ministry of Justice.
Djelfa Center
– Announced an advance in the date of the international conference on Public-Private Partnership and Public Service Quality.
Tiaret Center
– On May 27, staff from the center participated in a doctoral seminar at Ibn Khaldoun University (Sougueur Branch), titled: “Virtual Trial of the Primary Criminal Court – Artificial Intelligence.”
