 Important Announcement – For Employees Only 

On April 14, 2025, at Bab Ezzouar University, the handover of duties took place between Professor Jamal Eddine Akretch, the former Head of the Algiers University Housing Committee, and his successor, Professor Yahia Jafari, Rector of the University of Continuing Education.

Professor Yahia Jafari, in his capacity as the new Head of the University Housing Committee, clarifies the following key points:

1-A new permanent secretariat for the committee has been established and will be based at the University of Continuous Education.

2-The joint work team will continue transferring all files and archives to the new headquarters in Dely Ibrahim until Sunday, April 20, 2025.

3️- The new secretariat will implement operational arrangements to enhance efficiency and responsiveness to housing applicants (professors and employees) by the end of April 2025.

4️- A Facebook page will be launched under the committee’s name, along with a fixed telephone line to allow applicants to receive answers without physically visiting the committee’s office.

5️- Additional tasks will be assigned to LPA housing applicants among faculty and employees from universities, national schools, research centers, and student residences in Algiers Province, ensuring proper document updates and uploads.

6️- Efforts will focus on improving transparency, allowing applicants to track their housing application status at all stages, including appeals, through an enhanced digital platform with new services.

7️- A meeting between the Committee Chair and representatives from Algiers’ university institutions will be held in the first week of May 2025 to discuss the proposed agenda.

8️- The permanent secretariat will announce a weekly reception day, while remaining available daily via various communication channels.

9️- All efforts will be directed toward publishing the final ranking of LPA housing applicants by the end of May 2025.
