
Hosting of an Informational Day on the Digital Platform « Research – Cooperation for Excellence » at the University of Continuous Education

As part of efforts to enhance scientific research mechanisms and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders in the field, the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development, in cooperation with the National Agency for Research Results Valorization and Technological Development, organized an informational day on the digital platform « Research – Cooperation for Excellence » on Sunday, April 13, 2025, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and hosted by the University of Continuous Education – Didouche Mourad.
The event began with a welcome speech by Professor Yahia Jafari, Rector of the University of Continuous Education, who expressed his pride in hosting this important event and praised the role of the digital platform in connecting researchers’ efforts and enhancing collaboration among national research laboratories.
Professor Tomi Al-Dhahabi, Director of Development and Technical & Scientific Affairs at the General Directorate of Scientific Research, provided a detailed presentation on the platform’s objectives and future prospects, emphasizing its strategic role in boosting the effectiveness of scientific research and expanding cooperation among key stakeholders.
Professor Rabah Farka, Representative of the National Agency for Research Results Valorization, stressed the importance of the platform in linking research outputs to economic and social sectors, highlighting the need for active engagement from all stakeholders in the research ecosystem.
Professor Lounis Ghaniya, Head of the Research Results Valorization Department, delivered an in-depth explanation of how the platform works, its areas of intervention, and the services it offers to researchers and laboratories, emphasizing the critical role of digitization in facilitating access to information and strengthening institutional integration.
Professor Ayoudj Fatima discussed the general context of launching the « Research – El Bahth » platform, explaining that it aligns with Presidential commitments 41, 42, and 44, which aim to solidify scientific research and innovation as pillars of national development. She emphasized that the platform was created to support the government’s vision of digitizing higher education and scientific research, enhancing training quality, and valorizing research results to contribute to economic and social growth.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion session, where representatives from research laboratories across different provinces engaged with the presentations, posed technical and practical inquiries, and reaffirmed their commitment to making this national digital initiative a success.
