Expanded Directorate Council Meeting Led by the University Rector

Professor Yahia Jafari, the university rector, chaired the Expanded Directorate Council Meeting to discuss several issues related to pedagogical aspects and online training programs.

During the meeting, the council reviewed and approved a preliminary schedule for various second-semester exams, starting from May 3, 2025, with flexibility granted to centers to commence exams by May 10. Additionally, deadlines for submitting dissertations begin on May 2, with discussions running until May 30, along with provisions for online appeals, resit exams, deliberations, and certificate issuance.

The meeting approved the launch date for the preliminary registration platform for pre-2025 baccalaureate holders, set to start on May 1.

The council also discussed the status of startup and small business initiatives within the university’s incubator and addressed the role of the Entrepreneurship Support Center, emphasizing the need to increase efforts to conduct more training sessions. The Secretary-General was assigned to ensure the necessary resources for the successful execution of this initiative.

Furthermore, the meeting approved arrangements for English language exams (for faculty members) and deliberated on settling the dues of temporary professors for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The council also evaluated the progress of online training programs and proposed strategies to overcome certain challenges.

Lastly, the meeting finalized and approved several scientific activities scheduled for April.
