
Surprise Visit by University Rector to Annaba Center

On April 5, 2025, University Rector Prof. Yahia Djaffari, accompanied by the Coordinator of Algiers Zone 1, Prof. Zerouali Mustapha, paid a surprise visit to the Continuous Education Center in Annaba Province.
The visit allowed for an inspection of academic progress and meetings with various stakeholders. The Rector listened to their concerns while informing attendees about development prospects for the university and efforts to create suitable conditions for transitioning to a fourth-generation university.
The Rector emphasized the importance of implementing Decree 1275 and establishing startup and micro-enterprises to serve the national economy. He highlighted the strategic regional role of Annaba Center, particularly given its human resources and capabilities, notably under the leadership of Center Director Prof. Chokra Ali.
Concluding the visit, the Rector stressed the need to complete the academic semester on schedule without compromising required coursework hours, enabling the university to begin distributing graduation diplomas by mid-June.
The University Rector expressed gratitude to Center Director Prof. Ali Chokra, the Eastern Zone 2 Coordinator, and their team for the warm reception and hospitality. He wished them continued success and urged intensified dialogue with university stakeholders to ensure the stability of public services.
