The commemoration of Didouche Mourad’s martyrdom, which falls on January 18, 1955, is one of the significant milestones in the journey of our victorious revolution and in the immortal memory of our nation. This hero remains a symbol of sacrifice and struggle for freedom and independence.

We stand in reverence and respect for the sacrifices of this great national figure who chose the path of struggle and fight for the freedom of his country and people. Didouche Mourad embodied the highest meanings of courage and dedication when he gave his youth and life to the cause of liberation from the oppressive and hateful French colonization.

His memory is not just a historical milestone, but a beacon that lights the way for future generations and instills in our hearts the values of sacrifice, patriotism, pride, and honor.

Didouche Mourad was a wise young leader who actively contributed to planning the grand liberation revolution of 1954, never hesitating to be at the forefront, martyred on the battlefield to achieve the greatest dream of Algeria’s independence.

On this day, the actors of the University of Continuous Education – Didouche Mourad – led by the university director, Dr. Yahya Jafri, can only renew their prayers for the soul of the martyr, the leader of Northern Constantine, and evoke his pure spirit, pledging to remain faithful to his sacrifices and the sacrifices of all martyrs, upholding the principles of freedom and justice for which they sacrificed.

May Allah have mercy on the martyr Didouche Mourad and all the martyrs of Algeria, and may He grant them the highest ranks in paradise. Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs.
