   On the evening of January 9, 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamal Badari, met at the headquarters of the National Office for University Services. Present at the meeting were the Secretary-General, ministry officials, the head of university services, and central office executives.

   The minister reviewed the annual report of the office’s activities for the 2024 fiscal year, noting a savings of over 13 billion Algerian dinars achieved through the digitization of dining and transportation services, optimizing expenses.

   He encouraged the office’s executives to exert greater efforts to improve the services provided to students, ensuring optimal care for the student community.

   The minister also directed a review of the transportation plan for each university city, aiming to enhance this essential service for students’ mobility.

He issued instructions to begin thorough preparations for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

   During the meeting, the minister observed the involvement of university sports associations in various sports leagues, aiming to restore the prestige of elite sports.
