The University of Continuous Education organized a historical symposium to commemorate the National Day of Independence and Youth. The symposium was attended by members of the university community, including professors, students, and staff, as well as media personnel.

The symposium was organized in collaboration with the National Center for Research on the National Movement, Popular Resistance, and the November 1st, 1954 Revolution. The opening was supervised by the university’s rector, Professor Yahia Jafri, who highlighted the importance of the event in his speech and honored several freedom fighters present at the occasion.

The symposium witnessed significant interaction, especially after a lecture by the freedom fighter and diplomat Mohamed Dabbah, and speeches by freedom fighters such as Arabaji, Bakhoush, and Mouh Klichi.

The event included exhibitions commemorating the occasion, particularly new publications related to the national memory. The Audiovisual Center screened a video about higher education and another about the revolution.

In conclusion, the freedom fighters present were honored, and a commemorative photo was taken with them to mark the occasion.
