   Event: Under the chairmanship of Professor Khaled Rwaski and with the participation of University Rector Prof. Yahya Jafari, regional conference presidents Prof. Fares Mokhtari and Prof. Latrash Mohamed El Hadi, and representatives of various bodies and ministries, the meeting of the Steering Council of the University of Continuous Education was held in a regular session with a quorum. The president of the council opened the meeting by confirming attendance and presenting the agenda. He then gave the floor to the UCE rector, who welcomed the new council president and members, and presented key indicators and challenges facing the management of the institution, notably the need to amend the university’s basic law.

The attendees listened to and extensively discussed presentations by the UCE vice-rectors on pedagogy, communication, and intersectoral relations, as well as a budget presentation by the university secretary.

The council also heard presentations on the university’s work projects for 2024 and preparations for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The council approved the presented reports and made several recommendations to the ministry on legal, organizational, and pedagogical aspects that would facilitate the university’s operations and meet the requirements of the digital transition the university is aiming for to reach the fourth-generation university aspiration.
