A specialized technical presentation focused on digital pedagogy and training
On Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the headquarters of the University of Continuous Training, three special programs related to the digital management of the pedagogical aspect of the university were presented. The presentation was attended by the university’s rector, Professor Yahya Jafri, his deputies, the university’s staff, and its engineers. The focus was on the “Lessons” program, which deals with the digital management of e-learning platforms and how to transfer information to it from the Moodle program currently used by the university. Thus, the “Lessons” program allows for monitoring students’ progress and the course of lessons, serving the pedagogical goals of the university’s open training programs.
Another part of the presentation focused on the registration program for monitoring the work of teachers, managing their entitlements and extra hours automatically, and updating their information. This allows for organizing their educational and supervisory interventions during the academic year and aligning them with ministerial instructions in the field. Additionally, the Transparency program adopts a precise method in collecting information related to exams and professional competitions aimed at the public sector or various sectors. These digital programs are intended to enhance the university in terms of the quality and excellence of training and to ensure transparency in the pedagogical management of formal training pathways.
The University of Continuous Training aims to implement comprehensive digitization for all its public services, aligning with the sectoral objectives and directions by embodying the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at the digitization of the sector’s institutions.
