Today, on February 15, 2024, Professor Yahia Jaafari, the rector of the University, participated in the regional meeting of central universities (CRUC) at the Faculty of Medicine in Ben Aknoun.

  The meeting was chaired by Professor Faress Mokhtari and organized by the National Committee for Free Software, with the presence of university institution rectors from the central region, as well as engineers responsible for systems and networks at the universities.

   This meeting aimed to conduct a real assessment of the progress of the transition to free software and systems and to identify the challenges encountered in order to explore possible solutions.
