University of Continuous Education\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>

On the occasion of Africa Day, observed on May 25, several centers of the University of Continuous Education hosted commemorative events reflecting the cultural richness and continental unity of Africa:<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Adrar Center:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>

In collaboration with the Mujahid Museum in Adrar and the Law and Society Laboratory of Ahmed Dra\u00efa University, Adrar Center organized a scientific seminar titled:\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cAfrica: A Continent of Cultural Diversity and Economic Integration\u201d.<\/p>

Held on Saturday morning at the Youth Foundation Auditorium, the seminar featured a panel of professors and researchers, concluding with valuable discussions and important recommendations.\u00a0<\/p>

Prominent community figures were also honored on this occasion, including:\u00a0<\/p>

– Haj Slimane Ben Ibrahim\u00a0<\/p>

– Haj Abdelrahman Dahaj\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0<\/strong>El Oued Center:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The center participated in Africa Day celebrations, fostering awareness and appreciation of the day\u2019s significance.<\/p>

Illizi Center:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>

Illizi Center organized a scientific seminar on May 25, 2025, at the Youth Foundation Headquarters in Illizi, in collaboration with the Directorate of Culture, the Directorate of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, and the National Park Authority of Tassili (Operational Division in Illizi).\u00a0<\/p>

Themed:\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cAfrica: Cultural Wealth and Economic Diversity\u201d<\/p>

This seminar was part of the 35th anniversary of the university\u2019s founding and the 62nd observance of Africa Day, held under the guidance of University Director Prof. Yahia Jafri.<\/p>

The event featured in-person and remote presentations, including:\u00a0<\/p>

– \u201cAfrican Cultural Diversity and the Historical Dimension of the Continent\u201d\u00a0<\/p>

– \u201cTassili: Cradle of Civilizations and Crossroads of Cultures\u201d\u00a0<\/p>

– \u201cAnthropology of Africa: Between Diversity and Marginalization\u201d<\/p>

Speakers emphasized Algeria\u2019s historic African identity, and the tangible and intangible cultural wealth of the Tassili region, along with Algeria\u2019s vast economic potential as a gateway to Africa. They called for more attention to cultural heritage.\u00a0<\/p>

The Directorate of Culture of Illizi, together with the Tassili National Park Authority, also organized a special exhibition showcasing the region\u2019s cultural diversity.<\/p>
