Weekly Report of the Centers<\/strong><\/p>

Tissemsilt Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

On December 18, 2024, the University of Continuous Education – Didouche Mourad, Tissemsilt Center, organized an intellectual seminar on the occasion of World Arabic Language Day under the theme \u201cIn Al-Dhad lies the secret of revelation and eloquence.\u201d<\/p>

This seminar aligns with the ongoing transformation of the University of Continuous Education towards academic education, in addition to its continuous education programs, while strengthening its connection to the economic and social environment and addressing societal and national concerns.<\/p>

The event witnessed the participation of a group of researchers from the universities of Tissemsilt and Tiaret, as well as writers and creatives who presented valuable contributions and showcased their books and works.<\/p>

The center\u2019s director, Professor N\u2019Ghal Mohamed, extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this seminar, particularly Professor Arbaoui Hajar, Dr. KrayessDjilali, Professor Al-Aqab Kamal, the administrative staff, and the students, especially the Master’s students in Print and Electronic Journalism.<\/p>

El Tarf Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The center organized the first \u00ab\u00a0Master\u2019s Day\u00a0\u00bb for second-year Master’s students specializing in Business Law, Accounting, and Public Management. Four presentations were delivered according to the attached schedule, focusing on:<\/p>

Graduation theses,<\/p>

Startup enterprises,<\/p>

Ministerial Decision No. 1275, and<\/p>

Practical guidance for conducting original and distinguished scientific research.<\/p>

The second phase involved forming three workshops:<\/p>

Business Law Master\u2019s students,<\/p>

Accounting and Public Management Master\u2019s students, and<\/p>

Students presenting startup projects.<\/p>

Students presented their thesis topics and startup projects for the 2024\/2025 academic year to faculty members and received feedback and guidance. The supervising professors for the theses were also finalized. This initiative was well-received and appreciated by the students.<\/p>

BordjBouArreridj Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The center held a training course on the methodology of preparing graduation theses.<\/p>

Ouargla Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Professor Ben Mohamed Laqani visited the center\u2019s library to donate, on behalf of the family, the personal library of the late Professor Mohamed Ben Mohamed. The event was attended by the center\u2019s director, Mr. Ben Gharina Mohamed Hamza, law professors, staff, and faculty members. The collection, comprising approximately 200 titles, is a valuable addition to the library and serves as a vital reference for students, particularly those studying law and political sciences.<\/p>

Bouzar\u00e9ah Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The center announced the establishment of a scientific and cultural club named \u201cI\u2019lam Club.\u201d The club focuses on identifying and nurturing scientific talents and creativity among students, fostering a spirit of innovation, and providing an enabling environment for diverse scientific hobbies.<\/p>

Boumerdes Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The pedagogical committee held a meeting on Saturday, December 14, 2024.<\/p>

Annaba Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The pedagogical committee of the center, chaired by Professor Ali Shakra, held a meeting attended by the administrative staff, faculty representatives, and students.<\/p>

The agenda covered two key points:<\/p>

Progress of courses across all departments,<\/p>

Scheduling the first-semester exams.<\/p>

The session began with opening remarks by the director, followed by discussions where attendees, including student representatives, shared their views and concerns about the exam schedule.<\/p>

Oum El Bouaghi Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The center\u2019s director, Professor Assoul Mohamed Al-Amin, chaired a pedagogical meeting attended by student representatives. The discussion addressed course progress, teaching methodologies, and exam arrangements. The exams are scheduled between December 28, 2024, and January 4, 2025, with the final timetable to be published soon.<\/p>

Ben Aknoun Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The pedagogical committee, led by Professor MariemArous, the scientific committee chair, and Dr. Saoudi Mohamed, the center\u2019s director, convened with faculty members and student representatives. Key agreements included:<\/p>

Scheduling exams starting January 7,<\/p>

Arranging make-up sessions for specific courses such as Statistical Methodology and Statistical Modeling,<\/p>

Limiting make-up exams to three with valid justification (mission orders or certified medical reports), and<\/p>

Incorporating evaluative exams into written assessments.<\/p>

El Oued Center:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The center\u2019s director convened pedagogical committees for various specializations, attended by faculty and student representatives. The meeting reviewed the progress of the semester, with exams scheduled from December 28, 2024, to January 11, 2025. Students were invited to propose adjustments to course allocations. Concerns regarding the online platform were also addressed, with the director pledging to escalate them to higher authorities.<\/p>

Additionally, discussions included finalizing graduation thesis topics and internship reports, with proposals to be submitted before the first-semester exams commence.<\/p>
